Sorry to be sappy, but it’s how I’m feeling. Maybe it’s all the chocolate and nice presents? So it’s drawing close to that time when we have to say goodbye and face forward. Let’s not be sad, but let’s leave regret and recrimination behind, and just embrace the new with all its possibilities. Don’t be like Janus, with both years pulling at him, always torn between the past and the future, never able to fully attend to one.
